19-1-4 Appointment of acting executive
director. Whenever it is necessary to appoint an
acting executive director without delay, the chair-
person may make such appointment, subject to
the ratification or rejection of the commission at
the next meeting. The rejection of such appoint-
ment shall not affect any of the actions of the act-
ing executive director in the interim. (Authorized
